Eagle Flask - 7/2/2005 11:48:09 AM    Mango   Posts: 10 Joined: 5/24/2005 Status: offline Hi, Does anyone have information regarding this flask. I have been looking on the web and have found many American Eagle Flask, but none with the grapes embossed on the back. I has the cut off top and large open pontil. Wondering if it is Masonic? The photo is small, but the neck looks too perfect and straight. Please post a photo of the bottom so we can tell you more and thanks. It is a repo...someone has chipped the base around the fake pontil scar to make it appear older... I am not upset that the bottle is a reproduction, in fact I have posted it on ebay, but I am upset that someone would tamper with the bottom to make it look older than it is. Hopefully I can sell it still. Basically I have been items at yardsales and estate sales to resell in hopes of making some money. Like I already said, the guy was an antique dealer having an estate sale and people should be honest. I am and that is why I get pulled in by those who aren't. Again, thank you everyone.
