When he got it close to the shore,before the turtle could get a good grip on the land where he good get away ,I would jump into the water and grab it by the last of the tail[as they can turn there head out fast and take a chunk out of you]and throw it up on the bank if it was eating size.GREAT TASTING SLOW FRIED! A LITTLE HARD TO CLEAN ,BUT WORTH IT!
