Thank you for the welcome! There were several 'Electrified Water' companies around the country in the early 1900s. I don't know about all of them, but the one in Shreveport, Louisiana took it's name from the electrically-powered distillation unit that the company acquired from an army surplus sale. In those days, electricity was relatively new, very desirable, and made a great advertising buzz-word. Also, electrically distilled water was pure, and water-borne diseases like typhoid, cholera, and dysentery were still active; 'electrified' was intended to stress that the water was safe and pure due to the use of a popular, powerful new technology.
