Eli Lilly Tincture Gentian Compound - value? - 12/4/2003 6:47:15 PM    eslaydon   Posts: 1 Joined: 12/4/2003 Status: offline Hi, I have a old Eli Lilly one pint Tincture Gentian Compound Simple Bitter bottle. The cork is still in place and there is about 1 teaspoon of the original product in the bottle. There is a paper label on the front that is readable but shows quite a bit of wear. I'm very new at bottle collecting so I'm not certain of this bottle's age though if I understand what I'm reading it was made somewhere around 1910?
