Nice sodas, Tim. DF is right on with how to preserve the paint. Just be VERY gentle when washing them. I find pyro milk bottles like that all the time. Sometimes they are fairly easy to save, other times there just isn't much you can do On very good, scarce bottles, I will fix up the faded spots with paint. It's still not as good as an original, mint bottle, but they will display nicely. I have repainted ACL bottles with totally wasted paint and had them turn out looking decent. Once I am satisfied with the paint job, I will spray the bottle with the clear lacquer spray. This will keep your new paint from rubbing off and will also preserve any remaining original paint. Whistle was very popular back in its day. I have an embossed, hourglass-shaped Whistle bottle from Lewistown, PA. Jim
