Decided to go metal detecting for a bit at a few new areas. The first stop was kind of a bust maybe 5 coins, and a brand new blue carbiner w/key holder.
Interestingly enough, I also discovered a new dump. At first I thought it was maybe drunks throwing bottles. Then I saw mason jars, cobalt blue shards, a milk that was busted. Did some probing around and going back to see whats there.
Then I stopped at a likely spot and came away from that spot with 40 coins. Didnt get rich today, but the dump area looks encouraging.

Nothing good as far as coins. Just the common clad stuff and pennies. I tell ya the Govt needs to do away with those zinc coated pennies. They crumble to dust. I got one today so corroded it looked like a star. Its bad enough trying to roll those corroded things!

I did manage (while scratching the dump area) to recover 2 marbles. Dug down about 6 inch or more and looks worth tearing into. The top layers look 40ish.
