One of my many sub-collections of bottles has become these fertilizer sample bottles. Believe it or not Baltimore has 8 or 9 of these little guys and all but one are shaped like these. They come ABM and BIM ground lip, are only three inches high and are slug plate embossed. I really like the Susquehanna one there are not too many bottles with my favorite river on them and its unlisted in the Baltimore book. Way back in the day there was an air pollution lawsuit against this company. I'd like to find out more about the bottles like who made them and what good a little sample bottle of fertilizer would do to help sell the stuff? Deep doo doo to ponder........

If any of the Baltimore folks know where I can get more of these, please let me know.

Steve, those are very cool bottles. I was watching that Susquehanna one while it was on ebay. I never knew there were so many different companies that used these. I'm sure you can find a couple of them at this years Baltimore Bottle Show!

Thanks Henry, The Susquehanna went off the first time with no bidders (cuz I screwed up) and when it went back on I still got it for pretty cheap. Another, listed as rare, but listed - unlike the Susquehanna, went on a few months ago and I had to drop out so go figure? The other two I picked up at a Baltimore club meeting on the same night!
