Hey folks -
I picked up a couple of shirts, stickers, The American Poison Bottle Workbook and Price Guide, paperwork and so on..... and broke down and bought some bottles. We were only going to Early Buyers on Friday, but after plans at on Saturday were set back, we went back to the show for more. I'm so glad we did.

Here's a few we got. A KI-1 in olive green, a small (5 1/8") blackglass truffle jar, the elusive lion cologne, olive amber eagle cornicopia, and a strawberry puce? polygonal eight sided cologne...only 4 1/8" tall.

Meech, looks like you did real well. I especially like the KI-1 flask. The purple cologne reminds me of one I dug in an 1860s era privy this spring. Here's a pic. It stands 5-1/4" high.

Hi Dan -
Yours looks like a cylinder type shape. Is it? It also looks like milkglass, maybe not. Even though they are smooth base, the polygonals are said to be circa 60s - 70s.

Look on the left and I was gonna post this in a different thread, here's one I thought you'd like... an amber M. McCORMACK with repaired mold, but doesn't look like the amber variation in my Richmond books (which is said to be Tenn.). Tenn or Va.??? I'll find out soon enough from club members here locally.

Here's another pic of my bottle showing the base. It has clouded up since it was found but as you can see it is not milk glass but clear.

Here's my McCormack that I found this spring. It dates from 1852-1858, the years that it was manufactured in Richmond. I've been told that those from Tennessee were different but I've never seen one up close.

Sweet scroll flask.  How much did you have to pay for it?

That's what a privy will do to the glass. It's definately clear though.
