Status: offline 		Much to my suprise, I received a call from JoetheCrow earlier today about a package he received safely from Rockbot in Hawaii.  The contents were clearly marked as to whom they were for, Joe, Laur or myself.  One of the finest and classiest bottle packing jobs I have ever seen.  The initial off white paper wrapping (under layers of bubble wrap) on each told when and where they were dug and from what year the site was occupied.....Rarity was even explained.  Some awesome bottles. 

I remember going back and forth by PM with Rockbot a few months back about some of the cool bottles he has dug and their rarity.  Chinese, Occupied Japan (OJ), cobalt Japanese poisons...WOW, I never saw the bottles coming!  Joe will post some pics later. 

There are some amazing class acts on this forum who are so very generous in many ways...gentlemen like Gunther who is always willing to share his time and vast bottle knowledge to Rockbot who shocked some folks in the Pennsylvania backwoods nearly half a world away with some of the most unique bottles they will ever have.

Thank you gentelmen and thanks to the forum!

Status: offline 		Thank you very much for the bottles, Rocky!!  It was like Christmas!  The time and care you took to wrap the bottles, document them and even draw the Japanese characters was not lost on me!  I love the bottles!  I know I'll never have any others like these beauties or any that were catalogued like this.  I'm really impressed!

Status: offline 		On an alarming,...(and slightly amusing) note,...under the OMG cat-egory, While we were all talking bottles, taking pics and generally having a typically chaotic but great time with Tom, his wife, Father in law and Lauren,....and exclaiming over the cool bottles,..Laur casually mentions "There's one of your cats in Tom's bottle case"....Needless to say,...all conversation ceased!...Here's Pickle, (about to be in a pickle)

P.S. Tom's next statement was, quite naturally denial.... "No there's not"....Hmm, yep there is! (Pickle's one of six interesting cats that reside at the Mayorial mansion....(Along w/ two big dogs)...J.B.

Status: offline 		For now, all I gotta say is THANK YOU TONY!,....A very kind and generous gesture to send us some bottles from your corner of the world to ours....Very great thing....How to thank a forum that's so much more?...I have to say that.... ,ups and downs,.....Amazing info, comraderie,....Cool dig stories, Great pics,...etc,etc....I've recieved bottles from forum members all the way from New Orleans to England (and a lot of states in between) even a case Gin from India via London..... and now Hawaii! Very cool. Not to mention meeting my wonderful wife on here? The rushed photo does not do justice to the great color of this bottle.  Also note the misprint "apochecary" and OJ (Occupied Japan).
