Excellent...Congrats on your first blob.  The sickness get worse from now on.  First a clear blob then to the aqua...then the sickness really sets in.  Good luck ....(just messin)
About your bottle.  Prob dates from the 1890- 1910 or so.  I found one listed on google search and it hit on Kovels.
Category Bottle Pattern or Item Soda Description J.j. Steinhilber, Flushing, Pa., Blob Top, 9 In. Year 1997 Price $0.15
But I think they go for somewhere around $5 - $10 depending on its conditon and/or if someone wants it real bad.  Enjoy it.  I have the sickness also.

Congrats on your first blob, Justin. They are always a treat to find.

I have noticed that weird pricing thing on the Kovels site. It gave me a price of 87 cents on a rare poison bottle . 87 DOLLARS would not have even been close. I never put much stock in Kovels' prices, but that must be a site glitch of some kind! ~Jim

Yeah your correct Jim.  How do they come up with those prices, etc.  I would suggest only using Kovels as place to get some information from.  15 Cents would be  a straight steal.  Any blob should start at about 5 unless there are just millions of em.  And as Kovels puts out more and more books you would think that they would clean up thier on line information.  Get an inturn etc.

You go to bed with a helmet on?

I do know a guy who had one attached to his bag and I am not talking bowling bag here. Freaked him out. They like to get in between places to attach.

I did go to bed with the old girl one night after making Habaneiro sauce. Wow!!! That was a night to remember!!!!

Not sure I want to touch this one but I get out a lot and I've had ticks on warm days in December, January, and February so though not common, it's always a possibility.

!!! Now I will definitely be checking myself closely after digging! I have seen a few ticks, but have never had one attach itself to me. Glad to hear that you removed the little parasite safely. ~Jim

Tall blobs generally date from the 1880s to the early 1900s. That is a good era to dig in. Good sodas, beers, inks, poisons and maybe even a decent bitters. ~Jim
