Nice find. That's a early one. Id check around for pieces of glass shards as there maybe more just under the surface.

There a broken bottles around just waiting till the excavation starts . Talk to the excavator and he will set bottles aside for me if not there

Hello all of you, I have always liked six, eight,and 12 paneled meds. The most fascinating thing to me is the distribution of the glass thickness control; that these bottlemakers had to understand, to have the glass thickness so much in their control. It was not easy to put enough glass around the heal or the shoulders of these bottles. But they did a lot of great examples.
