Has anyone seen this one before?  I'll include the "before" and "after" shot...I've changed my photo settings so hopefully, the images are not too huge...or too small!

Feedback is encouraged!

Great bottle, Chris, but now I'm having to go about two rooms back to see the whole picture ! Do you not have Photoshop available ?

Aahh ! That's better. You resized it while I was typing !

Sperm oil or whale milk! Great looking Wheaton hutch! Should do whale if offered to sell!

The Torpedo is great but I'd grab that hutch with embossed whale in a heartbeat. That is a first, seeing an embossed whale.
Wonderful finds! How deep were you?

I thought it was kind of interesting also.  I'm sure someone from Mass./New England will chime in that they are probably common though.

We were diving in about 17ft of water at the time...

You're singlehandedly making me want to take up bottle diving!

I've seen that whale bottle once before online, maybe it was on eBay. I don't remember what it sold for, but it's a stunning bottle with that strange embossed picture!

It makes sense to have a whale, being that it's from New Bedford... Cool! But it's not a hutch, it's a Baltimore Loop blob. Sometimes they're called "steamers".

They are cool looking but unfortunately the Wheatons are common as it was a very prolific company. The later crown tops had dates on the reverse side.

Great looking bottles, love that whale. I've dug dozens of torpedos, none were ever embossed though. Nice !
