I headed back down to Baltimore Friday morning. Micah's spot has continued to produce some great bottles, especially now that they're really moving the dirt around. My bottle collection is growing and Im gonna have to build some more shelves. Thats a problem I dont mind having. Here's some more milks I grabbed. Quarts are Western Maryland, Koontz, Green Spring and Loch Raven. The Half Pints are Kress and Western Maryland.

Other misc stuff. This big bottle is about 13 1/2 inches tall! I found a Liberty Bell Bank. No money in it, just dirt. Also found this white dish. Bottom is stamped B & M Co.

This was the heartbreaker for me. I love these old bottles but this one was broke and I didnt find another one. Bummer. Its a Nathan Calvansky from Baltimore, MD. These may be common but Ive never seen one. Anyone know anything about these please share? Age? I assume it was a beer bottle? Id be interested in trading or buying one of these if anybody has one to get rid of.

The Galvansky blob would have been a really rare one! Actually one of the rarest Baltimore blobs worth atleast $200. Listed as "very rare" in the Baltimore bottle book! Looks like some good bottles! glad to see you got some Loch Ravens.

Hey Henry Ill tell you what. You say that blob would have been worth $200 if it werent broken. I sell you the half bottle I got for $100. Sounds fair. We got a deal? Just kidding. Yeah man I had no idea it was that rare but thought it was super cool. Well, Im not looking to shell out $200 so I guess Ill have to keep digging for one. Whats the age on that bottle? How did you guys make out this morning? Cant wait to see some pics

hahaha i'm good we made out pretty good. I brought home 33 milks, some different sodas, a poison, and some odds and ends. We dug two broken blob top beers that would have been nice and Joey got very close to pulling an intact jug. Its gonna take me quite a while to get all the stuff cleaned up. I really like that Ca-be bottle btw. Not an easy Baltimore soda to find. Same with the Gem.

The age for the Nathan Galvansky, I believe is mid to late 1880s. Possibly into the 1890s. I am not entirely sure, maybe some of the other Baltimore guys can chime in.

Interesting digs guys....Are the Loch Raven milks more valuable due to the town being flooded? I've dug some of the old furnace and townsites near LochRaven in the past....

Micah I liked the Everlasting Dye bottle. Thats a nice deep color with cool writing. It would be sweet to yank out one of those blob beers intact. Its been fun having to redo my bottle display areas in the basement every couple days!

A whole one. They are marked O. B. Co., which was only in business for one year!
