Also toying around with photos and the computer. Far from expert here.

Nothing special came out of the ground. Pretty cool that the younger crowd likes to hang around with dad though...very nice day. Little cold.

Anything under here? This property was built for Dr. Parks back in the 1850's.

Not bad for a small outing! I would try to get under that building somehow. That's always paid off for me.

Seems like a good spot. Lots of oyster shell and coal everywhere. The property owner thinks i'm a little kooky though. Any privy may be paved over. Guessing it would be between the house and the carriage house?

Thanks for posting the pictures dad. Here are those local meds all cleaned up.

We found three sizes of this bottle. This is the largest and the smallest. The middle size is at my mother's house. They'll be reunited soon enough... It reads:

Frank P. Houston
Apothecary
West Grove, PA.

We're from, and were digging in, West Grove which made these bottles very exciting for us.

It is always cool to dig a local embossed druggist. When I pull one out of the ground, I picture in my mind how the drug store looked at the time that particular bottle was in use. How the inside of the store looked, what was on the shelves. etc
One of the fun things about bottle digging, bottle dreaming.

I like your outlook! For me, it matters little what we find. Its all about getting out there and "What is this doing here and how did it get here? The original apothecary was just across the tracks. The little dig was behind the local drs office.

John, Cleaned this one up a little and the neck stayed on. Could not capture the color though...Thought it was a druggist but pretty sure its booze...
