Here is an Eagle and Cornucopia historical flask, Keene Marlboro Street Glassworks, Keene, New Hampshire. 1824-1835. Olive amber in color,
it has a sheared top,and a rough pontil scar. Nice color on this flask listed as common by Mckearin but but are any historical flasks really common anymore relative to the amount of collectors we now have in our hobby.A very heavy thick glass on this one also. There is an in the making fissure type of crevis in the glass. It looks like the gaffer touched it with a tool. This is one of my nicer New England flasks.Look out Mike I have more New England flasks to show this evening also.

The base has a nice centered pontil and lots of wear. What more could you ask for in a flask.

Nice Mike very nice your usual color run, I knew I would get to see some of your collection HaGreat looking bottles Mike,do you still have all of these? But........................do any of your Eagle/cornucopia G-II-72 flasks have the ghostly image of an American patriot in the pontil.Look again at this one, this time the picture is just a tad larger and more focused .Look closely, stare at it for a 10 seconds and you will begin to see the image.
