I found an old brown glass bottle half burried in my backyard. It's shape when viewed from above is a flattened oval. The seam runs through the neck so it's after 1900. The main body of the bottle is covered with raised spiderwebs and what look like wheat stalks. In the center of one side near the bottom is a spider and on the same side in the top right hand corner is a fly. There are smooth outlined areas on both sides where I assume there were once lables. The only wrighting on the bottle says [ BUY THIS BOTTLE ONLY IN THE TIN TOP SAFETY CARTON] . That is written around the top just under the neck. There is no pat. number. The neck is about an inck long and has 2 threads so it had a screw top at one time. The glass is very thick but clear. If anyone has any ideas about what this was used for or a better idea of when it was made I would be really interested to know. Thank you, Sally
