While getting my brain sucked  out I realized that The Three Stooges was not funny. When I was a kid it was funny as hell, now it's just plain stupid. On the other hand Our Gang/Little Rascals/Spanky and the Gang is as good as ever. Why? I ask my friends the same thing and they agreed w/ me? Mr. Freud? Can't be age cause my Mama says I still have'nt grown up and I'm almost 50. Paula says she knows something that Mama don't know

I turn 50 in May and I still bust a gut anytime I watch a Three Stooges show! Must be my warped sense of humor, but then again, one of my all time favorite movies is AIRPLANE!

Yeah, if I remember correctly, the turf was still on his head. I think Larry was my favorite. Loved Curly, Moe, and Shep. Never cared much for Joe. He just never seemed ....... how can I say this.... right for the part?

Ok maybe I'll give it another try. Maybe it was Shemp that didn't agree w/ me. Airplane funny. Fear of a Black Hat rib splitting. Dark Star comendable. Up in Smoke classic.  I almost forgot Monty Python The Meaning of Life and Monty Python and the Holy Grail outstanding.

...and the court room scene when Larry (the funniest in my opinion) spots the DA's toupee grabs the guards gun and pumps for or a five shots into it proceeded by the Larman pounding his chest and screaming like a deranged tarzan. How can you not laugh?
Now that's a funny face

But let us not forsake the monumentous prophecy that will always misalign our minds with references such as the Swallows migration habit, or the always underestimated raw disembowling  power that is held within the small and inconspicuous frame of a mere bunny.  Crossing paths with the knights who say neep, in a land called Monty Python

I've allways been partial to this scene  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrzMhU_4m-g&feature=related . Now I see that the power of logic has not changed much in a thousand. I'm sure these characters share the same genetic material as our leaders today. What is the last three words she says?

That's a fair court.  In reference to the extent of their witch testing, as compared to the testing in say Salem.  There they would test by loading the accused with rocks and throwing them into a lake.  If they floated, they were a witch, if they sank and drowned, they weren't.  Kinda like testing for ricketts by removing the brain.  Here's one of my favorite scenes, I couldn't find the bridge crossing scene.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcxKIJTb3Hg&feature=related

The stooges are still the best. just watch larrys facial expressions in the backround, he's always doing something. Youtube has great stooge material. moe howards last appearance on the mike douglas show and larrys last interview. Plus they have some colorized stooge shorts that look great, even if you don't like colorization. I've bought a lot of stooge movie posters off of e-bay and have a few case of stooges beer stashed in my basement.

Both me and the wife love the Stooges. That episode where they are Cavemen is hilarious.
