The Bo Peep I hear is common but I've never dug one. I guess they aren't local to here. I don't know anything about the Scheeles or the Nesbit. The J.R. Watkins and Pluto water are great bottles for shotgun practice and I just dug an Edelweiss the day before yesterday. It was cracked all around and would probably be worth more with the original paper label. Sorry I couldn't help out any more. Swiz

Ok, I guess I will have to count on the sodas I got and posted in that forum. A lot of those sodas are Mi made but Id never heard of them (I am 48). Cant find any info on the large pharm JR Watkins and the Yacht club salad dressing bottle (small kind of oval shaped).
Swiz ya know how to hurt a guy with those shotgun comments! Because thats what we did in this neighborhood when we were kids. Almost anything was fair game.

I hope you didn't shoot all the good ones. Go back to your target practice areas and dig deep. Maybe you'll find some good bottles. Can you post pics? I believe the Watkins was a liniment. I dug 1 a couple days ago and two today. There is the WATKINS and the J.R. WATKINS in really perty cursive. They display well but they are really common. don't give up hope just yet. I bought a lot of over 300 bottles earlier this year and had 20 that I pulled out of the whole lot. Most of those are for my yard sale. When you do find a good bottle it makes that one so much sweeter. Also don't let anyone tell you what to collect. if you like the way it looks then go ahead and display it. There's a ton of different types, shapes, colors, and sizes of bottles. Pick what you like and go nuts. Swiz

Its the JR Watkins I have and its a large bottle. Got a few Atlas bail tops kind of small ones. Then a Dreys perfect mason that appears to have a black tint to it. Same with that Sheeles bottle.
Thinking I will sort what I want out of these and take the rest to the flea mkt and see what I can dump them for in cash or trades.
Been wanting to go back out digging but its been 90+ and I dont like messing around when its that hot.

The Watkins co was started in Minnesota and is the same as the one still selling products today.  Very common here, but nice to display.  I have not researched JR Watkins and Watkins, but think they are one in the same, different times.  Google J R Watkins and plenty comes up.

I dug another Watkin's today. This one was just WATKINS and was about the smallest bottle I've seen of there's. I'm sure there's some smaller ones and maybe samples too. I gave her a toss over my shoulder and once she was outta the way I got down to finding some more goodies. Swiz

Swiz I certain this must be the 1st JR Watkins ever made and worth thousands!!! It says so on the bottle. I know its legit, (I wrote it).............The lady I got these 2 boxes full from only charged me .10cents each (still have some I havent mentioned 2-Beam Kentucky derby bottles, a German bottle, some masons, and some paper lables). Including the sodas which research looks like Ill do pretty good on those. The Cokes I know Ill do fine on them as theres 19 of the collectibles soccer/baseball/olympics/ and came in a wooden Coke case. Those I have about .20 cents each into and theyre all full bottles.
Heading out rummaging today hope to find some more "deals". Rich

The funny thing was the lady was pretty high on the insulators...Hemingrays-42s and some other commons clear 3 bucks but if they were blue 5. None I needed.
