Hey Zane, I believe that bottle is probably from Mexico or some spanish speaking country. Gramos is spanish for grams and there are 1892 grams in a half gallon. But other than that I have no idea...

No problem, but I got to thinking...maybe it is from the U.S. but since we have all those illegal aliens coming up from Mexico who don't speak a lick of English,  they also put the size of the bottle in Spanish? I don't know, just a thought.

Hello Zane,
I've seen American bilingual bottles before. Most that I've seen in English/Spanish have been from the southwest. Mexican labor was used extensively from California to Texas to construct towns, railroads, and everything else along the border throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. I would guess it's from an American dairy that catered to Mexican laborers out that way.
Are there any other markings at all that might indicate a state?

None at all Houseman. I'll have to ask my buddy where he picked it up. He lives in North East Ohio. It looked to me to be fairly early as far as milks go. Thanks for the feedback.
