I got looking at new finds on here tonight and got the bug to go back to my dig. Found this oldie, with embossing on all sides BARRYS/TRICOPHEROUS FOR THE SKIN AND HAIR/NEW YORK/DIRECTIONS IN THE PAMPHLET. I see a pontilled bottle from this company lists pretty high in the guide, (625.00) but this one isn' t that old. (saw no pontil, anyway) actually i never HAVE seen one in person. But...how old IS it ? 6 and one eighth tall just like the Kovell guide, aqua.

$32.00 US! I think that barry' s must have sent most of them over here then as we get a LOT of those. so sorry to say David but they are common, but still a good find in the USA though ? .
Has anyone seen the Pamphlet mentioned on the back of the bottle ? .

I have never seen the pamphlet but there are lots of trade cards like this one. Funny thing is they all show woman and talk about bald heads! You would have guessed the product was for men but obviously it wasn' t.

Greetings everyone. That Barry' s is quite common here in the U.S. too. I think the Kovels are way off on their pricing though. (As an aside, I don' t think much of the Kovels guides any more...pricing is often too high or low, in my opinion.) Anyway, alhough its a nice little bottle (I still have mine), a more reasonable price would be $8 - $10. The pontilled version would probably bring $30 - $40 though. Well, that' s my 2 cents worth.
