I came across this bottle when we were digging in the yard, it looks to be a medicine bottle, clear, with 3ii on the back and it measures up to 50 cc's on side. the bottom has an O in a square.

Yes, you are correct.  It is a medicine bottle.

The 3 is a symbol for ounces the ii is for 2 ounces

Welcome to the forum Breken.  The O in the square would indicate that this is an Owens before the Owens and Illinois glass companies combined in 1929.  Hope this helps.
