I guess I'm in an area of the dump that's really trashy (imagine that..it's a dump! ) and all the big bottles are broken...just finding this little stuff. Fun to find the little ones sometimes though, and there's all kinds of other goodies like coins, marbles, buttons, and the like. So today I found an interesting heart-shaped bottle. I imagine it's a perfume. It's got a little keyhole in it...how romantic! There's a couple screw-top vials with the lids. A neat, tiny little 8-sided bottle, a beaker of some sort, a little ink-looking bottle with two horizontal bands going around it, embossed on the base with "KK PATD." A multi-colored piece (wish I had the whole thing), a funny dog button, and a bracelet (maybe silver plated) with the name "Yvonne" etched in it.

Any ideas on the heart bottle?

Happy digging.....

I would agree with ya that the heart bottle is a perfume. Looks to be from the 20's or 30's. Nice finds.......

Yeap, A perfume bottle and it had a white metal top with a key sticking up on it. My wife and I have dug alot of that multi colored glass but have yet to see a whole example.

Yvonne probably got pissed when she found out the bracelet was silver plate and chunked it. LoL

That's hilarious. Yeah, or her boyfriend cheated on her and in a fit of rage she threw it in the trash. Ah, High School love. (the dump is a high school dump).
