Killer bottle, that's one super cool find. Is it a hand-blown piece?

Thanks guys. I am still new to the game. It does have a hand tooled lip, does that make it hand-blown?

Not really hand blown. The glass was blown into a mold and the neck and lip finished by hand.BIM=BLOWN IN MOLD.When i think hand blown i think free blown but whatever you wanna call it.The bottom line is that it was'nt made by machine. Also,if a bottle is machine made there will be a rough ring on the bottom.Just dont get that confused with a pontil.

Well, BIM does mean hand blown. The glass was manipulated by hand, and blown with human lung power. I suppose it's a subjective term, but really, BIM is hand blown, as opposed to machine blown.

Actually bim means hand blown or machine blown, it stands for Blown In Mold, whether done by hand or otherwise. a machine blown in mold bottle can be identified by the mold marks being all over the top or lip area. when a tooled top or applied top bottle bottle is encountered there will be a pontil or snap case mold involved in the making of the bottle, and there will be no mold marks on the top or lip of said bottle. It can be confusing, but B.I.M. only means blown in mold, a person has to state other facts to insure the bottle is hand made or machine made. to be accurate , that is.........

As much as I like this bottle, and can’t believe I own one having just seen one for the first time a few weeks ago, I have to part with it. I am on a mission, and even this I can not keep. If you would like to own it – item # 25098791938 on ebay. Thanks for your comments guys. Enjoy your day.
