Wow James!  Awesome pics.  I feel like I was actually at that show now.

I never have understood the fascination with those Steamboat bottles.  They have always been priced at around $500.  Never really saw the attraction.  I met a guy in Memphis who picked upa crate at an estate sale that had  4-5 Steamboats, some r/w Chiscas, and 2 three color Graports along with some common bottles.  He paid $55 for the crate.  All the bottles were covered in mud and had been found underneath houses that were being demolished in North Missipppi.  They cleaned up well and he sold off the bottles for a healthy profit.

Pat- Did you notice the Sport bottle on Milford Anglin's table?

James- You didn't happen to notice the price on the Big Chief to the left of the 3 color $985 Big Chief bottle.  That is a version I have never seen before?  Looks kinda cool!

Thanks James.  That is a coolbottle.  A little too rich for my blood though. I personally wouldn't have paid a penny over $710..

Yeah,  I saw in another post that you are only collecting  NC, SC, and GA ACLs.  I remembered you were looking for one a while back.  I watch ebay waaay to closely and I don't think a SPORT has ever been offered for sale on it.  I am thinking veeerrry rare and I would imagine big bucks......

Milfred Anglin's table looks to be better than most people's collections.
