How do you clean ACL sodas? - 1/2/2004 5:33:11 PM    kawdog   Posts: 192 Joined: 10/22/2003 From: Ruston Louisiana Status: offline I pick up the older ACL sodas when I run across them on my hunts, just because I like soda bottles and they are cool to me. My question is what is the best way to clean them without removing what is left of the label. There may not be a way to clean them without removing it, soap and water works fine with me but I thought some of you experts might have a secret or two you wouldn't mind sharing. If you touch it, particularly if it is wet or damp, you will risk the chance of smearing the label. Next I will let it dry in the sunlight, so it will bake the paint back on the label. Once you let it dry completely it will make it easier to carefully clean the bottle, still paying special attention from scrubbing the paint off the label.
