Some of the pictures in this thread belong to Mr. Tom Haunton the upmost authority on the BOOZ bottle.I highly recommend the purchasing of his (CD Tippecanoe and E.G. Booz Too!)wether you collect reroductions originals or both.On my previous post :

What I have learned about researching the Booz Original from the Clevenger .  I talked about ways to distinguish the differences between the BOOZ original and the Clevenger version.Hopefully the following pictures and the descriptions on the pictures will more easily explain some of the very obvious ways to tell the original from the Clevenger. The first picture is of the right side of an original BOOZ.

This second picture is of an original BOOZ mold in tjhe Philadelphia Museum Of Art
It shows the period after the word WHISKEY quite clearly.
This period is only on originals not the Clevenger version

This third picture is of the the front Roof mold of an original Booz showing in great detail where the top of the first O in the word BOOZ is located. It is definatley on the roof not into the neck like it is on the Clevenger version.I have superimposed a curved line showing where the Clevenger neck would extend down too.

The next picture is of the front portion of the original  BOOZ GVII4 mold.
Notice that the letters O in the word BOOZ,C in the word CABIN and S in the word WHISKEY Top to bottom line up straight one under the other.I have drawn a line through them
On the Clevenger version  the letters are off center of each other. They run top right to bottom left of each other.

Next is the most famous way to determin authenticity on the GVII 4 Beveled roof version.
On the Original BOOZ bottle the portion of the roof that was beveled is small in
length. On the Clevenger version the Bevel of the roof line is much deeper into the roof line.
I have drawn a line through the original roof showing where the Clevenger bevel begins and ends.
On the original BOOZ the top of the bevel ends in the first full shingle below it.On the Clevenger version the bevel is into the second full shingle below it.

Lastly their are mold seams on the bottom of both the Clvenger and the original.
Quite honestly their is no real difference between the two bottles in regaurds to
their bases. Here is a picture of the Base of an original BOOZ
