I can see gold and silver. Perfume bottle? - 11/4/2006 8:34:13 AM    Ace of spades   Posts: 184 Joined: 11/1/2006 Status: offline Good morning everybody, On my last dig, we dug up this small white glass bottle? It has no markings, the seam goes all the way to the top. But the top seems like it was cut or sanded very rough top. I am very curious about this one because as you can see in the pictures there is rust on it. I started cleaning it and while I was cleaning, I noticed that under the rust is metal on the bottle, I can see gold and silver. I  would say most 80% has rusted away.What is this bottle and should I keep cleaning and any suggestions on how to save the gold and silver. Cheers Ace of spades Attachment (1) Post #: 1
