This is a Frank Unnerstall blob from Cape Girardeau, MO. This bottle is rare as hen's teeth and is in outstanding condition.

Great one Chuck, but doesn't it say Blytheville, Ark., somewhere on it?   It's close by anyways.

I had heard of this bottle, but never seen one. A friend of mine found it and sent me an email wanting to know if i wanted it, and i was like "YES"

I know most of you guys don't live near me, but trust me this thing is like Bigfoot, you hear about it, but never see it.

The person that knows more about Missouri bottles than anyone I know told me that at one time only 3 was known and one was missing the blob.

Sure is a nice lookin' sucker. The only "hen's teeth" bottle I have, I dug, and it's in poor condition.

I was offered $1,000.00 for it the day I got it, and the person hadn't even seen it. (Truth)

I know, everyone will say sell it, but It's not that simple. I been collecting for many years and been waiting for this bottle, and now I got it. Money is only money, but this bottle will complete my cape collection and few if any can say that.

Congrats...I have dug some locals that I've waited over 25 years for, and it's always great to finally get a rare one.

Great bottle, Chuck. As a passionate collector of rare local bottles myself, I can identify with how happy you are to get that one.  ~Jim

Thanks, Jim. I know it's hard for others to get excited about a bottle from a town in Missouri, but in my area this is the one that bottle collectors dream about. Most have never even seen one, heck we have 7 antique stores in Cape and none of them have ever seen one.

I love the local bottles that most people have never seen or heard of. A lot of antique dealers and casual collectors that I know had never even heard of some of the bottles that I have until I showed them mine. It's always fun to be able to show them something they never knew existed.   ~Jim
