Been think about making a light box for awhile. Cost nothing, used scrap lumber I had lying around and two white pillow cases. Pinned it together with a finish nailer and glue. Took about an hour to build the frame and at least that long to stretch the screens on. The pillow case was big enough to put the sides and back on in one piece so that worked out well. Thought about making it out of a sturdy cardboard box but figured the screens would loosen after time and I only want to do it once. The only cash spent was for the inside screens. Made from red and blue poster board from the dollar store. No white and black. I'll see if they have them at Wal-Mart.
There ya go...

a few test runs. definetely have to get the black and white poster board. also have to fiddle with the can settings, looks like I'm going to have to shoot in manual mode. The auto settings wheren't ideal.

nice job Lobes. you may want to play around with the shutter speed a bit. sometimes I try the camera setting with the lightning bolt with a line thru it for light box shots. i found the light box is very unforgiving. any sign of dirt or stain shows up easily. keep up the good work fella. i put a slide show together of all the light box photos. kinda neat.

M&G Ltd. Had this for awhile. Color's beautiful! Tacking the fabric was a hassle. Needed a woman's touch. I was pretty frustrated and just started pounding staples in as fast as I could get them out of the gun.
