I think its called a chestnut - 12/14/2011 5:11:30 PM    the ham man   Posts: 516 Joined: 11/14/2009 From: Ellicott City, MD Status: offline Went to the Antique Baltimore Bottle Club Christmas meeting and won the last game of bottle bingo! I had a wide selection of one bottle left to choose from, so that's the one I went with.  In the bag was a bottle which I believe is called a Chestnut.  Not sure what it held but my guess is whiskey.  It has some nice whittling and is either a puce or amber color. I can't decide. I don't think I will be selling this nice piece of glass, but I was just wondering what it would be worth.  Also any other info would be very appreciated. Thanks so much. Use them in Germany ( and a few other European country) for certain types of wine.
