That is beautiful glass art!!! My first thought was a  fixture cover for a ceiling light or something like that.....normally another fixture would be mounted to the ceiling and have a few little screws that would hold it in place.....but who knows lightbulbs might not have been around when that thing was made.....

I can see what you mean about the light fixture.......but this bottle isn't very big. it would only be large enough for the older teardrop shaped christmas tree type bulb. The top definately was a screw top of some sort........ the light fixture would have had a solid ring I think. Thanks for your thoughts.

I hope we find out something on this one also, as I have one just like it. Mine was dug from a TOC dump and has a flarred out base. It also has a couple bubbles in it. One being in the threads on the top. I always figured it to be perfume, but that is just a guess. No base marks.  Thanks,

Marvin

Yes, unfortunately the base is broken off my bottle and therefore it's has no monatary value, but it was just so unique I had to bring it home and clean it up anyways......and I'd like to find out more about it. :)

Thanks for that link, Charlie! A pretty comprehensive site, for sure.

Nice lanterns, Carmon and Marvin. Thanks for showing them
