I have been digging bottles here in Maine and NH off and on for 40+ years. Three of us were digging an !880-1920's dump in Durham, Maine and we each found what I usually refer to as an English Ink. I also found a large piece of flint from England. Just wondered if any of the other Mainah's on here have found many of these. Maybe I have just been diggin in the wrong places but these are the first ones I have dug here in Maine. Dug a few pontilled inks over the years but I don't think the English ones turn up often.Posting picture of two of them we found lots of potstones and bubbles in the glass.
Like to see some pictures of ones others have found.

There are lots of these sheared lip (English Inks) around New England right now but imported. I don't think many of the diggers here have actually dug them out of the bottle dumps. Just thought it was odd to dig up three of them in one dump on the same day.
