Iron Bell or lamp post top?? Ideas please :) - 6/4/2010 10:51:43 AM    woodswalker   Posts: 1048 Joined: 4/13/2010 From: South Haven, Michigan Status: offline Found this one a while back and forgot all about it until my buddy Paul returned it...he cleaned up the outside of it...thats why it's so shiny. Was just a rust hunk a junk when I found it. But I have no idea what it could be...I don't really think a bell...and you can see it has a tiny hole in it from the pic...there are actually 2 of these holes directly across from another.... Attachment (1) _____________________________ Always enjoy nature to the fullest....what more could we want...birds singing and fresh air....AND Lots of neat stuff to always be found...One mans junk may be someone elses treasure :) Post #: 1

Thanks a lot for that link Julie....lots of interesting stuff on there.... I guess I'm going to have to get the metal detector out of the garage and see if it still works....The thing is older than me I think I'd really like to take it to that foundation where I found the parts to the buggy and old water pump handle.....Oh and my favorite find even tho not a bottle was a butter churn stamped 1901 _____________________________ Always enjoy nature to the fullest....what more could we want...birds singing and fresh air....AND Lots of neat stuff to always be found...One mans junk may be someone elses treasure :) (in reply to Buffalo Hunter) Post #: 6
