Found this  shipping crate at a sale this past weekend.

was enroute to a rocket launch ( my other  hangup  ) , and a little town had  a yard sale weekend, so I stopped at a few, found a few bottles, too which will post soon, once I clean and photo them.

Paid 15 bucks for the Watkins crate, good buy ?  is it super duper rare ? lol .

definately a neat item,  undecided yet on trade or ebay material, or save.. so if someone has an interest ,drop me a note.

It is a neat crate and anybody can get a Watkins bottle to go with it for not too much trouble. However, because the bottles turn up so often, I would fear that the crate might be equally common???

Are the bottles still in it..., or did they nail it back shut? Pretty cool find, and I'd say for 15.00$ you could hardly go wrong.

No bottles, if full, even though common bottles, it would have been a great find

It's not nailed shut, the bottom is opened up for access.

I have never seen one, ( course I have not been on the hunt for 30+ years like many here ), so thought it was worth the 15.00

Might try it on Ebay just for grins, have not decided yet.

I also got a pretty rough Coke 24 bottle crate from the same elderly woman, for 5 bucks, pics to follow i sodas, once I get my weekend haul photod and ready .
