Susan and I hit a dump I have been working for 25+ years.
The first picture shows the front end, from the road.
Next is Susan, my chief dirt mover. She does an admirable job knocking my hill down and she also likes to find goodies, in the hole.
The last is yours, truly, cooling off. I actually start emitting steam and have to remove the glasses, so I can see.
We didn't find anything outstanding, but the hole is open to almost 9 feet now and can be worked all winter.
Dig safe.
Bill

A wave of the spade to you & Susan,

A late January dig, in the thumb, without the use of augers or dynamite!

Bring on the goodies, please...

We are suffering through 70 degree days and 48 degree nights right now. It is really tough.

Great pics Bill. I have rarely done any digging with out my wife. She can move a lot of dirt too. Recon that comes from taking care of us. I always dug a hole big enough for her to sit in. Cindy is like a gopher after that.

I am leaving for church in a few (It's Sunday AM). Later on this afternoon, after digging, I'll post some digs of the things we kept and cleaned up.
Somebody drive up to Saginaw and help Nic today. I'm not sure I'll be able to get there and he wants to dig like the dickens.
Hey Warren, I like warm weather (poor guy) but I really prefer to dig when it is below 50 degrees.
Bill

this weekend is looking nice up here. we have a potential of opening up between 10-15 privies if we have enough people (though that would be a lot of people) so come on out if you can and dig with me in scenic saginaw mich. weve only logged 3 homicides within the city limits this year! not bad at all. thats only 1 every 10 days or so.

Bud,
Get my number from Tom or PM me. You're welcome to join us. I can dig Saturday and part of Sunday, after church.
