The other day I came across an amber coloured bottle with "Javex" embossed on it. It has screw top, and I normally don't collect screwtops, but because of the embossed name I thought I would investigate further. How old is the Javex company? Are these bottles worth picking up, or are they absolute trash? Any thoughts...

Javex, was an English company, that later started doing business in Canada post 1900- The brown bottle is likely one of their bleach products. Colgate purchased Javex some time ago. Do a search and you'll find quite a few posts for Javex. Hope this helps

Thanks, I searched "javex" on this site and found the "common (worthless) bottle list", and it was on there. So, I guess that answers my question - blue bin!
