RE: Just a Rock? - 7/24/2011 1:02:13 PM    RED Matthews Posts: 2394 Joined: 8/2/2008 Status: offline Hello msleonas;  I have collected at least a dozen stone tools in my life time.  My Grandfather had a grape vineyard where there was a big battle between Sullivan's Army and the Seneca Indians.  He had metal buckets of stone arrow heads and hammering tool heads in his collection.  I also had a daughter that collected a lot of Indian stone pieces, so there is no reason to doubt that your stone can be an early tool for cleaning hides or milling seeds or whatever.  It looks good like it could be OK.  RED Matthews _____________________________ http://www.bottlemysteries.com/welcome/ (in reply to msleonas) Post #: 3
