Hi, I picked up a poison today for five dollars and did some research and found out it is a KR-14. One website says it is very rare but I cant find a price anywhere. Does anyone know what the current value is? Thanks for any help, Kevin

Does it look like this?

If so, what size is it?  I know the current price is nowhere near this historical high like most things these days.

Hi, I think you said your bottle was 4 1/8 inches tall. The KR-14 comes in ten different sizes. Your size would be number seven in the 1-10 smallest too the largest size. Your bottle should be embossed on the base P.M.  552  F.S.& CO.  whish stands for PIERCE. MOORE. FISHER. STEELMAN COMPANY. The historical price range on these bottles use too be $300 to $2000 acording to the size you had. Due too the economy now and the fact that a person just sold five of this same size all at the same time  on EBAY a few months back he killed the value of them. The last one he sold only brought $200 and one of your members was also able too purchace one from him for $200. It is up too the member too identify himself if he wants too.  At the present time it could bring $200-$250 on a good day if there is still a POISON collector  out there that needs one. If the person  that sold the five bottles would have sold them a week apart the price would not have dropped so drastically!!! I have collected POISON bottles for around thirty-five years. If you have any questions about a POISON bottle feel free too contact me through this site or e-mail me at mmcculloch@triad.rr.com. and i will gladly answer your questions!!!!  You have a great site here and I enjoy reading about other bottles, digging finds  and  I find a lot of information that I did not know on all other catagories of bottles!!! I don't respond very much because I don't want people too think of me as someone who thinks he knows it all or is a walking encyclopedia. I feel that I am very knowledgable on POISON bottls only!!!!  If I can be of any help too you  please let me know!!!!!  jerry2143_

I knew this thread would bring you to post, Jerry.  You did that wonderful article on this very bottle just recently.  Dont be shy about posting here.  Your a wealth of knowledge and I certainly cant hold up this category all by myself.

And no, I dont mind admitting, it was my lovely wife that bought that KR-14 for my birthday.  It was a steal, but $5 is AWESOME, no matter what size it is.

....but I don't see where he mentions a size....
