LIGHTNING strikes twice in the same place. - 7/16/2010 8:37:13 PM    jskirk   Posts: 760 Joined: 3/22/2010 Status: offline I picked these up today at an antique shop They are both really nice with bubbles and whittle marks. The dark one almost looks red, and is marked Putnam 326 on the bottom. The Light Amber one is a putnam 225. Iwas wondering if these are common ones, I cant seem to find much info on them. I dug one years ago , it was the only fruit jar I ever dug up . There is also a reproduction in the quart amber jars too if I remember right . I am just glad it was lightning Jars, we also had alot of lightning, probably the same storm that passed here to You. I Had the Idea of keeping one and selling one, but they are both nice and different numbers, but definitly ifI sell one it will be the light amber 225.
