I just found 2 oriental plate! I'am not sure this is japaness or chiness, I guess I'am gonna need to appraise them.
does anybody here have experience about these? Or can anybody provide me with information of forum to discuss about this?
Please help

Your top photo looks like a Koi fish also known as a Japanese Carp.It is very popular as a symbol of love and friendship and widely used lately as a tattoo.They originated from the common Carp in China during the Jin Dynasty and were later transferred to Korea and Japan.The live fish are used in outdoor pools and water gardens for a decorative purpose.

This may not be what this is,it is just my guess.The art work looks Japanese to me and I would think it would be desirable for any collector of Oriental items.  -Tim
