I won this off eBay last month, and it only got here yesterday... Anyway, it was worth the wait! It's my first screw topped local addition, but I can excuse that, because this one has 100% label and contents! There's already a (junky) labeled one in the possession of the GR historical society, so I knew it existed. Still, mine has an absolutely perfect label. I figure it's 1939, because of the writing on the label. The Anchor Hocking mark on the base tells me it's post 1937. Anyway, I had done a bit of research about the company, and came up with this 1906 ad. I figure they were probably in business even before this. Maybe there is a blown one from there? I'm sure of it. It probably won't have "Glen Ridge" embossed anywhere on it, mine doesn't. It does have embossing, like "T. HILL MANSFIELD". I think Capillaris was sort of like Vaseline, based on the label. Anyone want me to open it and see if it works?
