Labels come off new beer bottles and mayonnaise jar very nicely after being in water a while. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work on old ones as well. (in reply to labelbottles) Post #: 2

I had to get a lable off a bottle for a friend who wanted the label but not the bottle.  If you heat the label carefully with a hair dryer the glue loosens and you can sometimes get it to come off whole that way.. but that's on a newer bottle not an older one. I saw a clear Dr. Perice bottle with a really nice full label and would love to put it on a dark aqua one. I may give it a try and see if it works. Im sure success depends on how you go about it.
