Hi All,

My neighbor found these in Lake Gadsden last summer when the water was at drought level.
The Coke has 52-08 embossed in very small numbers on the front, and Gadsden ALA on the bottle. The Grapico with the partial label has Bottled by Orange Crush Grapico Bottling Co. Gadsden, ALA The Grapico missing its label was bottled in Birmingham ALA.
I told my neighbor they were probably not worth much because of their condition, but, since I know nothing about ACLs I figured I'd better ask.
Thanks for your help.
Char

aridice53, on the front of you grapicos, does it have like a banner trailing from the o that says "naturally good". and on the back, does it say "drink of the nation", in a semi circle shape above where it says 6 1/2 fluid ozs? I can't see yours well enough. I have the one I'm posting that I'm trying to find info on. It's hard to get a good picture of the details on it. Mine only has the embossed label.

Hi necie, no mine doesn't say that anywhere. On the one with the partial ACL it says "Flavor from the Grapico Co. of America" and doesn't mention how many ozs.
On the older one it has the "The Drink of the nation" and "6 1/2 fluid ozs" I no nothing about sodas!! LOL
Good luck!!

take the bottle that does not look like it has any acl left that you can see and put it up to a light at varying angles and you may find out that the acl is just gone or mostly faded away . your friend who found them in a lake must have had fun time finding them

Interesting, I like to check out those area lakes myself while I'm down near Guntersville & Scottsboro, Alabama. LEON.
