We've been joking that all our other snow went off to make room for theis new stuff....(and we were just getting able to see grass and earth)...

Those cardinals sure get around. We have them by the millions out here. I have to actually cull them out on our farm because they will eat all of our figs, poha, mountain apples the buds off of orchid plants, steal our animal feed and crap on our car mirrors. Apparently they love to admire themselves.

Hey Tony....Firewoods real good still... (thanks to Laur) she was able to get us an extra load this past fall through our local heating help program,...Credit where it's due...so we've not ran out like a lot of folks this year...We've had maybe 5 days where it's been warmer than the 30's... (and her and I were joking about seeing the ground and digging soon, just last night)...All the snow came since around 10pm last night...) According to our local Woodchuck lore, spring should be on it's way.

I know this. Just wondered why he would come to the tundra. Anywho, as nice a Cardinal as Robin is, I'd rather look out the window and see some Flamingos, Pelicans, etc. right now!

Okay, that's a Spring/Summer pic I took, but still. Winter, be gone!

We got some snow here too, I'm not too far from you I think. It is snowing now. We had exactly 2 days without snow before being buried again...it's been a rough winter and the firewood is running low, at least what is dry enough to burn.

Ain't that the truth...Trying to heat with poorly seasoned wood "blows"...

Might better try to stay warm huddled around an ashtray.... Only get enough btu's to sizzle the sap and creosote out of the ends of the logs. Ash is the ticket....burns good wet or dry.
