Its been pretty slow on here latly so I thought maybe all the diggers could post some pics of their moca pottery found over the years. I love moca almost as much as some pontil bottles. I posted pics of collection of dug moca before but ill post some new pics tomorrow when I get back home. Its been awhile since i added a new moca piece to my collection.

Hey there, the first three I posted date to the 1820's-30's. The rest are a mix of mostly 1850's-60. They do have some good value if whole and perfect unlike mine which are pieced togeather. When they are broken and pieced togeather like mine have little value at all but to me are priceless pieces of early american art.

I do also have to added that some of these pieces may not have been made here in the US but importated from England

Wow, amazing and beautiful stuff. I've only dug one whole piece, a small blue banded bowl. Nothing like those gorgeous pieces, and I really love that early stuff, so I want to dig one. Seems like they're found more in privies then dumps. I've seen Marks stuff ( Cazdigger ) in person, they look even better live.
I dug this early piece of salt glaze stone ware today ( glued together ). Never seen a Salt glaze bowl with this much cobalt, or this pattern.
Thanks for the pics

Not quite as early as that early mocha you guys have, but still a nice primitive piece if it were whole.
