My bud Jerry and I went tent camping at Cape Henlopen Delaware this last weekend during Tropical Storm Hannah.  We have been camping there the first weekend after labor day for 10 plus years and that wasn't going to stop this year come hell or high water!  There's always a powwow that weekend and the Delmarva bottle show.  Here's a poor picture of the show which takes place in the Lewes High School on Sundays.

There were lots of milks there and some of the Lewes one's are pretty pricy.  I keep looking for one in the woods but so far have only come up with one from Beaford and one from Milsboro the home of the powwow.  Here's the only bottle I bought at the show for $10.  Got it because of the unusual style and although I've dug many SCA milk shards I havent got a whole one yet.  Even though its a pint it's as tall as a normal quart.  I believe this one dates to 1911.

NO Bottle Show is a bad show!  Any time bottle diggers, collectors or sellers get together to share, we all should be grateful.  Love the Buffalo, Rochester,  Lowell, Keene and Pittsburgh shows each year.

Hey Penn, I didn't mean the show was bad, only my photo.  Glad you liked it Matt, although it is a smaller show I still enjoy it every year.  Of course we were idiots for camping in the rain, but still a great time!  Here's my buddy Jerry emptying some of the rain from my truck.

Here's a display they had on sea glass.  Although somewhat amusing to some of us diggers, to each there own I always say.  I have actually read two books on sea glass, the one pictured here and another and both had some good info on bottles and one of them covered many types of glass and stoneware.

Seaglass is what got me started digging bottles. A buddy knew I had tons of seaglass and pottery and asked if'd I'd ever go bottle digging. We went that day during lunch in our Navy khaki uniforms and scoped out our first dump, got all dirty and had to go back to work!

I bring the interesting broken shards home and throw them in the rock tumbler and make faux sea glass. Love depression glass cuz of the colors and designs.. SCA is my favorite tumbled glass.

Some tumbled glass. BTW, real seaglass is very valuable.
