Hey Cindy, The Lewis Bear Drug Co. {previously the Lewis Drug Co.}was in Pensacola, FL and later became the Lewis Bear Co. and is still in business today as a beer and wine distributor.

Your bottle is not the most common or valuable bottle the put out but not the most common either. It is valued at $20 to $25 localy. I saw one on Ebay listed as a poison and emailed the seller that is was not. I also emailed the buyer after the seller refused to change his description but he didn't seem to care either. He paid over 100 bucks for a med bottle that has mostly local intrest. My mom had to have mine. LoL She always gets her way.

If you ever decide to sell it I would be interested.

I've added a pic of the poison. They sell for $500++. I have been offered $250 for mine with a hole in it but it is the only one I have for now.

Warren,
I was hoping you would see this post and reply, because I thought you had an earlier post about these bottles.  Thank-you so much for the information.  I will pass your reply along to my friend, who recently inherited a large amount of old medicines.  It is a neat bottle, especially with the bright red fluid still inside of it (which I think is the original fluid?)

It's a cough elixer for Lungers.{TB} Probable a narcotic based syrup. Tell her not to open it. After 100 years or so the fumes from some of those chemical/drug remmedies can be dangerous. It is very cool to find them with contents though.
