I posted a question on 6/18/08 about a Listerine bottle with a screw-on cap I found at a World War II P.O.W. Camp in Canada and had some questions on it. Thanks to everyone for your answers, you were extremely helpful! Through some investigating, I found out that the original makers of Listerine advertised it had many uses, such as: 1. Eliminate Dandruff..................HA! 2. Use as an Antiseptic (They recommened using it after shaving) 3. The obvious, BAD BREATH! I have one more question: Does anyone know if I could purchase a label for this bottle? If so, where? I am not concerned if the label is reproduced. I want to use the bottle as a conversation piece. From what I found out, the bottle is from 1941 -1942 and is not worth that much. I am still not sure if the bottle was made in Canada or not, even if the name (Canada) is embossed in raised letters on the front of the bottle and I found it in Canada. Thanks All!
