Hi, Rich. When you say "sales", were you selling as well as buying ?

SA--- no I mean that we went to many sales. I was buying today. Made a contact yesterday and have been back 3 separate times. the fellow has so much inventory he cant get it all out at once.

So, again tomorrow I must return...he has 2 more truckloads coming in (I have 1st choice on all coins and militaria). Which this could turn into an expansion of my hobby. This is of course, after we attend a large flea market. Hoping tomorrows temperatures will be a bit nicer for walking the flea market.

Very nice...glad to hear you got some deals. Good luck at the flea market tomorrow. We were out from 8am until after 3 this afternoon. Didn't do too bad,but not a lot for as long as we were out. found an old feed sack, a sharpening stone, a nice mccoy cookie jar, few pieces of pottery, and some nice kitchen bowls (anchor hocking, pyrex, etc). Handed out a few cards, one guys has a bunch of milk bottles he may be interested in unloading, and a woman is cleaning out her mom's house. Hopefully those will pan out. Supposed to rain all day here tomorrow.

I had good day tag saleing  today, got my first Norton stoneware jug, E Norton & co. with s clover cobalt glazeing on the front, 1883-94 it has a few small cracks but it was only $30. I absolutely love this local pottery. than I get another tag sale and they had a peace of Cushman furniture http://www.northbennington.org/cushman/cushman.html

I own two peaces from the company, and am always one the look out for more,as they made some beautiful furniture, (look it up on e-bay to see some more photo's.) The peace was a lounge chair for only 10 bucks!! what a deal!!   But someone had already bought it by the time I got to the sale, and they were just about to carry it away as I was looking at it.

Well, as we know there are good days and bad days. Just have to keep trying. You just never know what will show up.

Acc--Speaking of sacks!!! I got a brown canvas U.S. Mail bag yesterday I havent a clue how old it is but I got it at one of the stuff a bag sales and tossed everything but the kitchen sink in there. Thought it may make a good ebay type item. Just something Id never seen before. Rich

MI - I've never seen one before either. Does it have a city name or anything else on it? Sounds pretty neat

With all we brought home....That horse wouldve died. Maybe a team and a covered wagon wouldve worked.
