I don't think he has this bottle. Even more suspect is that he keeps talking about worth, both in the auction and the threats to pull it because "...this is too expensive of a bottle to give away!", this tends to make my fraud o' meter go off. For someone who claims that he doesn't know for sure that this bottle is worth $1000, he is certainly eager to demand he get that much, or he pulls the auction. I want a clear Barney and Alley, but I'm not stupid enough to trust fuzzy pictures. (in reply to idigjars) Post #: 10

I laughed.  How crazy is this guy/   And how much more crazy are the people bidding on the stupid thing.   Richard Mix sold a very good example of one a couple years or so ago for $1675 (photo of it below with cola in the bottle to make the label show).  This idiot seller just recently registered the end of December.... has no feedback.   If he was going to do a fake auction, he could have at least stolen a better photo.  Looks like the photo he's used came out of one of the Mountain Dew books....and a bad copy of it at that. But, wouldn't it be nice if a real clear Barney and Alley came up with no reserve, and....  oops, I woke up and found myself typing.....   (in reply to acls) Post #: 11
